How does an attempt work?
Pick a battle in the app and put the phone where the camera sees your whole body. The coach counts the reps (or times the hold) from your body position, talks you through your form and films the attempt. Profile → Help and info → How the coach works has a short video for each exercise.
On public battles the counted number goes on the board straight away. If the count is wrong, correct it and say why in one line: a lower number goes on at once, a higher one waits until we've watched the video. On private battles the numbers are declared, and whoever opened the battle checks them. The full rules are one page long.
Why is my attempt "in review"?
Because a person has to watch the video before the number counts. It happens in two cases: you corrected the count upward (the board shows the counted number in the meantime), or the battle has a review threshold and your declared result is above it (the attempt stays off the board until it's checked).
Separately, an entry reported by three different athletes goes in front of us for a look. It stays on the board while we do.
How do I report an attempt or block someone?
To report, open the attempt, tap Report, pick what's wrong and send it. You need an account to report. On the website every entry has a Report button too.
To block someone, open the menu (…) on one of their comments and choose Block. They can't react to or comment on your attempts, and you can't on theirs. To undo it: Profile → Preferences → Notifications → Blocked people.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Account → Delete my account, type your username to confirm and tap Delete my account. On the website: your account page, under Delete account, type DELETE and press Delete everything.
Either way your attempts come off every board, the videos we host are deleted, you are signed out everywhere (the app included) and your username is free again. A video you posted on another platform and linked here stays where you posted it. It can't be undone, and you don't need to write to us first.
What happens to my data?
The privacy page says what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. For a copy of your data, a correction or anything else about privacy, write to privacy@battlefits.com from the address you signed up with.
